Warranty Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy explains how the warranty on Daewoo large appliances bought in India works. The exact warranty period for your product is printed on its warranty card and invoice, and some parts carry their own longer warranty — for example the compressor of a refrigerator or the panel of a TV.
Register your warranty
Register your product on our Support page soon after installation. Keep your invoice and note the model and serial number from the rating label — you will need them for any claim.
What is covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use.
- Repair or replacement of defective parts by an authorised Daewoo service partner.
- Labour charges for repairs under warranty.
What is not covered
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, liquid spills, pests, fire or natural disasters.
- Installation, repair or modification by anyone other than an authorised service partner.
- Damage caused by voltage outside the range specified for the product.
- Commercial or non-household use.
- Consumables and accessories such as filters, bulbs and remote-control batteries, and cosmetic wear.
How to make a claim
Raise a service request on our Support page, call +91 86559 53282 or email contact@daewooappliances.in with your invoice, model and serial number. Our support team will arrange a visit by an authorised technician.
Installation
Air conditioners, built-in chimneys and hobs, and dishwashers should be installed by an authorised technician. Installation by others may affect your warranty.
Changes to this policy
Warranty terms may change for new products. The terms on your product’s warranty card at the time of purchase always apply.
